At least one group of people from another country is in America to observe our campaign season in action.
A group of delegates from Indonesia are here in Central Florida to observe. They are part of a State Department exchange program to study American culture and politics.
On Sunday they attended a church service in Eatonville. They've also met with candidates, special interest groups and even members of the media.
On November 6 they will go to polling stations and campaign sites to watch the electoral process.
One of the delegates, Dr. Nova Yusuf, is one of the youngest members of Indonesian Parliament. She said she observed our political campaign ads, and thought they were ethical.
"I think it is fair because criticizing certain policies is what you are supposed to be doing," Yusuf said.
There was one part of the process that seemed to disturb her though.
"Yesterday when I went to a campaign rally, it's brutal!" she said. "I think it's brutal! I was thinking was that founded? Was this information valid?"
The delegates are part of the American Counciul of Young Political Leaders exchange program.
